British people have like 10,000 different accents. I don’t think my accent is substantially different to most Americans. there are regional accents, but many people just have generic American accents

I don't hate voice notes but text is usually better. Especially when people send you podcasts and you totally lose track of what was said at the start of the note.

Having said that, I have been known to send podcasts too so I'm very much part of the problem
