I think Kamala gets a bit of a bad rep, and Vice President is a notoriously thankless role at the best of times, but the problem is beyond the very fact of her being a WOC in high office, she's not terribly inspiring. She really struggles in interviews, where she has a tendency to get bogged down in guarded, circular, borderline nonsensical politician speak. We're used to that in England, but Americans prefer a bit more showmanship from their political leaders these days. I fear she'd be another Hilary if she was ever leading a ticket, but if Biden does become incapacitated I think she'd be a safe enough pair of hands during any interregnum. That's probably her best shot at success really, maybe taking over mid-term would be the making of her.
