I don't really invest much in this but if Trump wins this place is going to be gloomier than when Portugal won Eurovision.

aggregates of polls are still data taken from polls. anyway, here's a nice summary of why almost all polling at this point is redundant and looking at it for clues is pointless -

The angst is because I feel trapped in a constant cycle of defending myself when people mock me for having an opinion. Especially people I like. I come onto moopy for fun and it makes me feel shitty. So thanks for that.

I don't know what gives you the idea that I think that about politics. I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything I'm just sharing the latest information. How is that different to what we do in other forums?

BTW I don't use X, I don't have an account, so that just shows you're making assumptions.

it just seems like you're taking it hyper personally when people disagree with you. which people will, it's a discussion forum and the topic is highly subjective. it's fine if people hit you with an ":D" sometimes for something you've said no? haven't you done the same to others many times, haven't we all? is this thread exempt from it or what?

sorry that something I said made you feel shit, but all I did was point out something a bit silly you'd said (in my opinion). I still love you! you should develop thicker skin though. you've been on moopy long enough to cope with a bit of banter and nobody has said anything harsh to you.
 
I don't take disagreements hyperpersonally at all. Read the thread better. You were mocking me without provocation. And after a series of mockings, that's pack mentality. Unprompted. From someone I have a good rapour with. Had it been me, I'd have jumped in and defended you whether I agreed with you or not.

I'm not going to stop having thin skin over things like that. Maybe don't interact with me if you're not in agreement with me. Saves everyone the bother of reading this nonsense.

that's not what a discussion forum is for. nobody needs smoke blown up their ass. if you want to debate topics like politics then be prepared to actually have the debates and back up what you've said. I called you out because you contradicted yourself about polls! I stand by it! moving on!
