Awards Season 24-25

Oh I absolutely LOVED Memoir of a Snail. I cried at the end. It’s incredible. I’ve been told that I need to see Mary & Max now.

If Mikey wins SAG, I think she'll snatch the Oscar from Demi at the last. Since I put a tenner on a Demi win after the Golden Globes, though, I'm really hoping that DOESN'T happen :D
 
I’m not even on the Emilia Perez hate train, but Zoë Saldana doesn’t have a single interesting scene in that film. The epitome of somebody sweeping because they’ve spent years putting the work in.
 
I don't suppose anyone could DM me with directions to a cheeky copy of I'm Still Here, could they?

I'm not going to have a chance to get to any of the cinema screenings before next Sunday and I really want to see it.
 
I don’t think he deserved it, but Timmy C taking Best Actor at least opens up the race a little.

It’d be so typical of the Academy to end up over-awarding the middlebrow music bio AGAIN.
 
I haven't seen the film with Timmy twink as that old man but Adrien Brody fully deserves Best Actor and I'll be pissed if he doesn't get it.
