My final all day Easter drinking session ended at 9pm as I just couldn’t be arsed drinking anymore, which means I’m tired today but fine, I’m very pleased to say.

Unlike Mr Sheena, who turned up about an hour ago, absolutely off his box, gurned in the most unnecessary explanation ever “I’m a bit drunk and I’ve done drugs and don’t hate me”, told me he loved me five times, came back to tell me a sixth but then got distracted by telling me he’d persuaded a friend she should leave her husband, promptly collapsed on the bed and is now fast asleep with his glasses all askew

I hope they play a prank on him so he thinks he's ascending and then, at the last minute, they cut the rope and he plummets. I'd like to think there's a sense of humour in the afterlife that goes beyond the accepted irony and monkey's paw-like scenarios.
