Eastenders 2023

How they have handled Theo in the promotion these last few weeks has been pretty odd.

He's not in the line-up of suspects and he was completely glossed over in the Joe Swash thing, but if they're trying to do a Bobby Beale style surprise twist with him then it won't work as they had been building him up as a potential for the best part of a year! A lot of casual viewers just tuning in for Christmas will be very disappointed if that's who dies.

The only thing from that clip is Kathy's reaction to Suki's reaction which makes me think someone has killed someone close to Suki.

I'm genuinely so impressed with how this has been building. Hope next week is not a let down :o

They really ramped stuff up this today's episode.

Literally no idea who will die on Xmas Day.

Just finished today's as well. The stakes just keep getting higher!

I don't know how I'm supposed to debrief my family on all of this before the Christmas Day episode.

Tonight’s ep was definitely calmer than the ones that came before it but OH MY GOD the ending. :disco:

I hope Yolande shows up, so Angela Wynter gets to be in TWO big Christmas Day shows on BBC1 (she's in the Doctor Who special as well - alongside ANITA DOBSON) :disco:

Was it? I haven't heard anything about that :o I think it's far too early for him to return, though I know it's bound to happen eventually.

I read that leak as well. It also said that Bill Treacher has been tempted back from his full-time commitment to being dead for a twelve episode arc which will also feature Lou Beale. It also said that scenes would take place in the club at the weekend as opposed to 3pm on a Wednesday afternoon and it would be playing music at realistic volumes, but I dismissed that because it's too far-fetched.
