If you've ever listened to a Steps song and thought "H and Claire just aren't stage school enough for me" you may be in luck.

Not me thinking the till said “ISIS” when she scanned the album.

From Theatreboard:

“Here & Now - opens in Birmingham in November. Tickets on sale February 9th.

It is set in a supermarket called Better Best Bargains. This sounds camp as tits and I’m so ready for it.”

Not really interested in this... unless it is actually led by star of stage Faye Tozer with solos all over the shop.

I mean a musical based in a supermarket to the soundtrack of Steps?

YES

Somewhat messy interview to flog this on BBC Breakfast the other day -

Charlie Stayt is a nob, isn't he. They shouldn't have to be interviewed by straight men

I love that the "great, award winning writers" Lisa mentions is just twitter gay Shaun Kitchener who does Hollyoaks. Good for him!

I will absolutely go and see this when a retooled version plays a limited season at the Peacock Theatre in 2026.

And here's Midlands Today at the launch -

This must be the best thing to ever happen to Birmingham :disco:

(I assume they tried Manchester first)
