as an album I don't go back much at all, but I do think Reinvention was a great tour and totally transformed Mother + Father and Nobody Knows Me into SEMINAL MADGE BANGERS.

the singles are great. except Love Profusion which is properly twee and disgusting.

Nothing Fails is majestic but definitely not at the level it was back then. Aged a fair bit

Didn't realize "Hollywood" was so hated. I like all the singles to varying degrees (even beige old "Love Profusion" gets a pass these days), but it definitely lacked the highs of all her other albums to that point. I'd like to see some sort of deluxe treatment for its 20 year anniversary this spring. Are there any outtakes? Not that she'd give us any.
