Lana Del Rey - Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd (24 March 2023) (1 Viewer)

Awkward that "Pink Champagne" is superior to the final product LMLYLAW 🥹

increasingly I feel this is one of her very best ever so we do love to see it. I've been having many moments with it lately.

I've got a KID and two cats in the YARD
the California sun and the MOVIE STARS...

do we need a "post an iconic Lana Del Rey lyric" thread?

legends stay winning

also the three most streamed songs from the album yesterday were:

01 Paris, Texas (672k)
02 A&W (643k)
03 Let the Light In (372k)

the good sis Let the Light In slaying a bit :disco:

Not a bad drop for her sales wise. Second week sales still stronger than Blue Banister's debut :D

New photos from her Instagram believed to be from a music video shoot. Quite a serve!

Ended up sneaking in a second week inside the Billboard 200 top ten with the final numbers:

The % drop is pretty much identical to NFR!, with stronger sales.

I forgot Blue Banisters fell outside the top 100 in week 2.

The idea of Lana doing this is SO BIZARRE :D
This new album in particular would be almost IMPENETRABLE as a live Summer festival THRILL, especially considering the capacity of BST is really QUITE LARGE.

*closes with an extended version of Fingertips*

Rumoured setlist

Off to the races - instrumental
Fishtail
Kintsugi
Fingertips
Do you know..
God knows I tried
Salvatore
Pretty when you cry
Blue jeans - instrumental

everyone dies at the end 🫶

Album rank one month later:

1. Let the Light In
2. Kintsugi
3. Grandfather...
4. Fingertips
5. The Grants
6. Taco Truck x VB
7. Fishtail
8. Paris, Texas
9. Candy Necklace
10. A&W
11. Peppers
12. Sweet
13. Did You Know...
14. Jon Batiste Interlude
15. Margaret
16. Judah Smith Interlude

I rarely listen from start to finish, not cause I dislike any of it, but because it is like three albums in one so I either start with "The Grants", "Candy Necklace" or "Paris Texas" really.

Booked for Hyde Park!

We were meant to see her in 2019 but she cancelled the European tour never to return. Never seen her live so I'm excited even if it is a basic bitch setlist!

There are LOADS of posters that have popped up in London over the past couple of days for the Hyde Park gig. I wonder if that will help with the chart position next week.

That was supposed to be my first time seeing her as well, but she decided she was… tired :eyes:

DYK is top 40 on the Billboard 200, and Born to Die returns to the top 50 for the first time since 2014.

QUEEN

DYK is also top 40 in the UK midweeks today.

Hasn't BTD been a Billboard staple since 2014? Ridiculous but who cares cause we keep winning
