Are we getting a new Agatha episode tomorrow?

I have NO idea where we're up to. Are we in a new phase now? What was even the last Marvel film? Are they all still canon / tied together?

I'm lost. They should have kept all the TV series completely separate.

Phase five ends with Thunderbolts* in May and a Black Panther TV spinoff in June.

Phase six begins with Fantastic Four: First Steps in July.

OMG they’re crossing over X-Men into the MCU? I genuinely didn’t know that was happening. I thought X-Men were one of the properties that Disney couldn’t get rights to, is that all sorted now or is it going to be a Spiderman type deal?

Speaking of Spiderman, I assume he’s going to be in phase 6 in some capacity?

So from the peak Avengers era we lose Iron Man, Black Widow, original Captain America, Spiderman, Hulk and Hawkeye, but we keep Thor, new Captain America and Ant-Man?

That’s not the best trade off :D I mean I know some of them are DEAD but still.

Also interesting that they’ve chosen the original X-Men timeline even though McKellen and Stewart are in their 80s. I mean it’s the best choice but given the speed they wheel out these movies now it could turn into a Dumbledore situation :(

Hawkeye is in apparently (according to other sources) and Florence Pugh is the new Black Widow.

Basically the cast shows it'll be a tie-in for both Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four movies to be released this year and no characters from Guardians Of The Galaxy are in sight - bye!

Lovely to see QUEEN Florence back, she absolutely nails this character. She gave the Black Widow movie a real edge.

They always said Guardians was gonna be a trilogy didn’t they?

I’m not sure that Fantastic Four is an upgrade thoogh - talk about a franchise ALBATROSS

Oh I forgot about Captain Marvel…

Is that nobody from the Marvels contingent then? I forget who is in what group :zombie:

And no mention of the Eternals? Are Disney just pretending that never happened?

I didn’t think that was a bad movie at all, as it goes.

Here for Channing Tatum reprising his role as Gambit from Deadpool & Wolverine.

One notable absentee is Bree Larson.

Quite a few WOMEN are missing: Hailey Steinfeld as the female Hawkeye, Brie Larson, the girl from Ms. Marvel, Elizabeth Olsen - Wanda, Danai Gurira - Okoye, Evangeline Lilly - Wasp and Gwyneth Paltrow - Pepper/Rescue (but of course she was not coming back!).

The Eternals were fine but the comic isn’t really a great read and they sort of sit at the back during any galaxy type stories.

There's a bit in the latest Captain America movie's storyline that manages to shoe-horn something relevant from the Eternal's movie to tie it in with something from the X-Men's origins :zombie: It's all just a big mess.

They now have full control of X-Men since 2019 when Disney bought Fox.

I don’t really watch cartoon series tbh. Only one I ever bothered with was He-Man on Netflix and that was because I was a huge fan as a kid. I don’t think I’m invested in the lore enough to to watch. I’ve only ever watched one Marvel live action spin off - Wandaland

(And to be fair it was fucking excellent)

You know when Harry Styles popped up at the end of Eternals as Thanos' fuckable brother or something... do we think/know if that was only ever intended as a fun little headline-friendly cameo? Or did they intend to have him back?

Oh! I forgot to ask - how have they brought Loki back?

I thought that whore died, etc?

I know they made a Loki TV series - I assumed it just covered the period of his disappearance between Infinity War and Endgame

I’m pretty sure they planned to have them all back. The whole movie felt like the start of something bigger, like the first X-Men movie

Oh and delighted to have the OG (for me) X-Men and Thor back! I'm suddenly giving a bit of a shit
