Old TOTP (BBC4)

Different times and all that I know, but even at the time who on earth thought the Mini Pops were a good idea?

"Don't Mess With Doctor Dream" is the WORST Thompson Twins single and that's NO EASY FEAT

Different times and all that I know, but even at the time who on earth thought the Mini Pops were a good idea?

The same people who ended up in the jail a couple of decades later, I suspect...

Who the FUCK is Paul Jordan?

I haven't the foggiest. Dr Eurovision is a more prominent Google search result under that name. He seems like he is enjoying himself but what was Cameo and 'their first television debut' about? The joy at 'OOOOH... MARILLION's dropped two places' though. :D

Yes, Trapped is wonderful. I had no idea that Midge Ure song was one of his, never mind a number one.

Just catching up with a few now.

Midge Ure really is as unwatchable a performer as any I can remember.

Speaking of declining looks, I knew Jennifer Rush was probably lucky that she was passable in 1985, but he really did go all wrong in the looks department after that...

I still don't understand why they just don't edit him out and show the performances...

I wish they’d also edit Jennifer Rush and UB40 out of any future episodes.

And that MISOGYNIST CUNT Steve Wright.

Just wait for the THEME FROM HOWARD’S WAY.
Now you see I REMEMBER Howard's Way. It remind me of Sunday evenings, watery gravy, soggy veg and the early realisation that weekends are way too short. So the theme is quite familiar.

I do wish TV THEME TUNES would get into the charts again.

Was the Connie theme (The Show) in one of the Yewtreed episodes? I remember seeing it in the countdown, but not performed.

Just wait for the THEME FROM HOWARD’S WAY.

ALWAYS THERE
Your love is ALWAYS THERE

How can I remember that? I didn't even WATCH Howard's Way

Poor old Marti. 'Take That Look Off Your Face' it was NOT
