Old TOTP (BBC4) (1 Viewer)

Enjoying Five Star's literal interpretation of the lyrics in the video. Although I'd have enjoyed a beauty and the beast visual reference with Stedman and Denise.

By the age I was for the charts they are covering now, I had a paper round. I distinctly remember buying more and more singles as time is going on.

I also briefly smirked when a baby Jack Osbourne was referred to.

That's quite the gown Ozzy is wearing.

'The Captain Of Her Heart' was and remains stodgy old nonsense.

I bought this Belouis Some single, for some reason. In retrospect I think I fancied him, as much as at the time I didn't recognise it.

These old TOTP do make me sad for lost beauty in youth, knowing what of them look like now.

And tonight's 'I'd completely forgotten this ever existed' belongs to 'Radio Africa'.

Well I googled it and the GREAT NEWS is they're STILL TOGETHER, even better she's straightened her hair and he's got rid of that tash.

I'd forgotten quite how big the blouson jacket was in the mid eighties. Batwing sleeve optional.

OOH Diana Ross and her GLAMOROUS FROCKS

Of all the horrible presenters of this era there's Mike Read, Steve Wright and I think he's now off the show by 1986 - but the utterly foul Tommy Vance.

I was never fond of the way Peter Powell tucked his jumper into his trousers.

There’s not enough SEXY PETER POWELL.

That Paul one (WHO EVEN IS HE?) is the absolute WORST.

Sigue Sigue Sputnik: It has been a while since a record zoomed into the charts with so much thrust.

What was Alexander O'Neal wearing?

Paul Jordan's hand seems to be constantly stuck in his trouser pocket, presumably gently fondling himself at the thrill of presenting alongside one of Radio 1's elite.

The presenter list ongoing. Sadly Steve Wright outlasts Janice and John. Thankfully just one more year of dead cunt Mike Smith.

I just Google image searched Sybil Ruscoe. She looks like Beth Tweddle's mother.

She ROSE to FAME on the COAT TAILS of SIMON MAYO which I think SAYS IT ALL
