Yeah I like Garcelle but girl needs to get in the muck with the rest of them

OMG this video is so fun :disco:

Dorinda’s section is boring, but I never realised how COMPLETELY DETACHED from reality Tinsley was :D She REDECORATED a hotel room..? THAT FRIDGE! OMG that fridge! I’d seen photos of it, but seeing her explain it and explain what tf is actually in it is more entertaining than almost any scene she’s shot for the actual show :D

LuAnn’s is like a lucid dream :disco: I imagine the production crew had HOURS AND HOURS of footage to trawl through as she showed off each and every one of her delicious Jovani dresses :disco:

Last night's RHONY episode was.... a whirlwind. Jesus effing Christ, Leah, you unhinged maniac.

Leah made me feel quite uncomfortable - the episode a few weeks back was entertaining as the other girls were involved, this just seemed like a total mess. It reminded me of Sonja falling through the glass table.

I was quite into Elyse suddenly finding a semi-voice this ep however :D

Leah makes for some sort of compelling reality tv but I was shocked to find myself 100% Team Ramona on Leah asking if her sister could come on the day they drove up there (sorry, RUDE) and Leah completely proved Ramona's point when she got 100% wasted. What a mess. And then the other women going in on Ramona's lack of higher moral footing due to her past antics. Ay dios.

Also LOL at Dorinda siding with Leah during all of this. Sloppy, aggressive drunk comes to the rescue of sloppy, unhinged drunk. :zombie:

Also SCREAM at Bedlam erupting around her and Countess Luann goes: "THE SOUP IS GETTING COLD" :D

I don't know how Leah was even able to film the next day. I would have had to stay in my hotel room the whole day. Not just because of the mammoth hangover, but from crippling embarrassment!

It's a shame, because so many of the best moments across RHONY have been when the women have all been wasted. But wasted to a certain point (and it's a pretty high point, at that). Beyond that point, though, and it becomes too uncomfortable to watch. Sonja crossed it in the Hamptons. Leah defacated on it in Newport.

As the Leah thing was unfolding, I found myself turning into Heather Dubrow for a minute - "Is she having a mental breakdown? Do we need to call the ambulance?"

I love that the producers of RHOBH are as obsessed with 'Aaron's big penis' as the rest of us are.

I'm also looking forward to him showing up to next week's episode with some of that BDE in defense of his wife :disco:

Aaron is so stupid, it must be a drag for Dennis to take him out (not that she’s the sharpest tool in the shed).

Rinna is such an awful friend, I love it. Was she ever considered for Wild Things? Is Wild Things that important?

Sutton continues to be stupefied by everything and Dorit has been my favorite so far.

Dorit siding with Denise by the looks of the mid season trailer. What a dream team.

- Brandi’s face in the trailer: GOOD GOD, she looks like Jocelyn Wildenstein
- Same for Rinna’s trailer lips
- Was quite into Sutton’s bizarre match.com/sex trafficking story
- Did Erika only speak in confessionals this episode? Was quite strange she was narrating the BBQ argument but wasn’t involved in it
- The trailer looked GREAT! Camille/Kim AND The Morally Corrupt Faye Resnick :disco:
- Fuck off Teddi

Oh and Netflix UK has the Producer Cut of the Dinner Party From Hell episode from season 1, which is basically 45 minutes of dinner party footage - it is BONKERS and amazing!

I’m convinced Alison DuBois was a plant by production, but what a plant she was :disco:

I don’t hate her, but Erika is just so POINTLESS

Her (rehearsed) confessional character is completely different to her on-screen persona. I can’t think another housewife from any city that has a bigger disconnect.

I give Garcelle another season before she's the new queen bee of whatever is left of this cast plus the new friends she brings in. :disco:

It did feel like the scene with Garcelle and her ACTUAL friends chatting at the start of an episode a few weeks ago felt a bit like a back-door pilot for either a completely new show, or scoping for potential new Housewives :D

Can deffo see Garcelle really pulling focus in series 2, with Dorit as her henchwoman. Keep Rinna around as the villian she's always been born to play :disco:

Yikes that was not a good NYC episode. I’m tired of these old white drunk women and the second hand embarrassment from watching them.

Yeah deffo for New York...I really think it’s time Sonja was demoted to friend of...she seems to have brung all she’s ever going to bring, and the entertaining delusions are being taken over by quite a sad alcohol-soaked reality.

Dorinda spending all day drinking alone was also troubling.

Congrats the THE COUNTESS by tactically making friends with Leah and Tinsley this season - securing her spot in the future of the franchise :D

+ the shot of Elyse sat alone at dinner completely unimpressed, then panning to an agog Carson Daly lookalike by the bar was editing genius :D

I’ll take toxic BH over this shit show. It reminded of OC which is the worst show on earth.

I kinda enjoyed last night's episode. Everyone was a mess, but no one was off the rails on the level of Leah last week or Sonja in the Hamptons.

This season is definitely missing some DRAMA though. And the fact that over half of the preview for next week's episode was made up of those extras in Halloween costumes was a bit worrying...

I think that’s maybe where I’m stumbling with this season a little, as individual episodes NYC is HILARIOUS and ridiculous, but as a season there is just no storyline or forward momentum seemingly developing.

That said, I’m deffo going to be watching multiple episodes from this season out of context with a bottle of wine in the future :disco:

I can’t wait to see Dorinda vs Leah and Dorinda vs LuAnn (again).

NYC needs someone to keep Ramona and Sonja in line. This season is similar to season 4 when Bethenny left and Jill and Ramona just acted like monsters.

Leah is no Cindy but she’s too alone to be able to stand up to them, they need to bring several girls to form a counter alliance similar to season 5

i’m just catching up on BH and jesus, they are all so foul. just because denise didn’t want the women discussing threesomes at a rabble with kids near by they are now pulling apart her past roles at the dinner table and erika insinuating that at the table that her daughters may have had one already and all of them laughing and not calling out such a spiteful and below the belt comment

TOXIC and very unpleasant

i LOVE denise :disco:

It's like they're having a contest of RHONY to see who can be the most obnoxious each week. It's quite impressive, really.

I think Leah is such a clear Kelly Dodd (ew) moment in that she's clearly the future of the franchise, and she brings the Bethany smarts without the ridiculous paycheque.
Ramona and Sonja could well become the new Vicki and Tamra.

I can TOTALLY see Tinsley leaving for next season, Sonja demoted, and 2 younger newbies being brought in to boost Leah's corner.
I can also see them introducing a woman of colour to the cast too, thus possibly giving Ramona rope to hang herself.

I wish the long-rumoured Jill return had happened this season. Not only would she make an effort at keeping Ramona in line, she'd be someone for Luann to play off during all the dinner and drinks scenes. This season, Luann has faded into the background during those scenes as she can't partake. But with Jill beside her sipping her diet Coke, they could have made a good team at calling the others out and reining them in somewhat.

I think Tinsley's already left hasn't she? I thought she left before filming had ended, too.

And yeah, there's not much purpose for Sonja any more. None of these women need a 'straw that stirs the drink'!

Apparently she was meant to return but lots of her scenes got cut :oi: production must really HATE her!

I’m enjoying Lu’s bizarre “friendship” with Tinsley & Leah, and her and Dorinda as the relatively neutral middle-ground of the cast (Dorinda/Tinsley aside :D )

Rewatching some season 7 recently, I do miss them all running riot on the bars of NYC. I hope we have a few of those scenes this season. Kristen is also possibly the most REDUNDANT Housewife of all time :D

(A complete aside, but the scene where Sonja takes Bethanny to get her opinion on her fashion label, which is a TOTAL SHITSHOW to Bethanny’s disbelief is one of NYC’s all-time best :D )

Has anyone watched the Real Housewives of Johannesburg? I see it's coming to Hayu next week, it's probably the only franchise I HAVEN'T seen yet, it looks quite good!

Yes, I can’t wait for it. I hope it’s better than Toronto.

I watched an episode of Johannesburg on Daily Motion a while back, I mainly remember a Kim Z style character with horrendous hair, and VERY LITTLE EXPLANATION as to where anybody's money comes from :D

I’d be quite into watching RHo NAPOLI one day :disco:

They do seem to hate her, but they do love bringing her name up at every reunion.

Anyway I'm glad a whole new generation of Housewives viewers are going to fall madly in love with Jill and then madly out of love with her, now that Netflix have got the first two seasons of RHONY up.

I'm looking forward to the Real Housewives of Johannesburg, though I've heard mixed things about it.

Then I still need to watch Toronto - which I've been putting off as I've heard it's so dull. And I need to finish RHOC. That's the last American one I started to watch and I'm only on season 12 so far. And then Cheshire, as Hayu don't get the seasons until a little while after they've aired.

This weekend I started RHOBH again though, as I was so jealous of everyone who was getting to experience it for the first time on Netflix. :shy:
