Has anyone seen Episode 3 yet, the lipsync was seriously whatthefuck...
 
it's obvious that Mimi imfurst has some serious issues, i sometimes feel sorry for him but his whole look is crazy stalker down the street.

i've loved the challenges this season, the queens in space and the workout videos were hilarious. i hope they keep getting rid of the boring ones, india ferrah and mariah to go next.

At this point I'm thinking Manila, Alexis and Raja/Shangela will be the finalists, Yara Sofia and Carmen Carrera just feel like cannon fodder right now
 
Of course i am, it's one of my favorite TV events. The queens aren't that exciting this season though, none of them really stand out the way Raven and Pandora did last season.

i'm thinking Shangela ia a shoe in for the final 2 if they don't have a dress making challenge again, i like Manilla but whenever she doesn't do fans and chopsticks she's not funny. Carmen has been dead weight since the first episoe but they all have a pretty one in there.
 
The final 4 is usually dressmaking if memory serves, with a plug for Absolut Vodka.

Right now I think Manila can beat just about anyone in a lipsync for your life, so I'm putting her as final 3 based on that alone. I also think Yara is far more one note than her.
 
Her lipsync was hilarious, the white face with mascara all over it :D, i also don't get why they go so hard on her when she does her Asian impressions since everyone else does it (Alexis and Yara both do immigrant/bad english and Shangela does her ghetto stuff).
 
I sort of get it, I mean Manila is more of an impression, with Yara particularly (I don't think it's AS pronounced with Alexis) it's much less so. That said Yara's gone to the latina well about 5 too many times, it was good the first couple but I'm over it now, but I'm guessing from the time she did Amy Winehouse that it's all she has.
 
So who do you think they're bringing back??? My money is either on MiMi or Delta, the rest were mostly boring and they surely can't bring Shangella back again.
 
I was thinking about this today. I think Delta was in the bottom two too much, Mimi essentially eliminated herself, Carmen was never really good and well the only one I could see it being is Shangela, she was bound to go on a creativity challenge and this is how they get her in the top, what's the betting they next couple of challenges are humour/personality based

Anyways, I think I now want Yara to win, she's blatantly the most endearing and not a bitch, shame I can't see any way in which it will happem.
 
I want either Mariah or Stacey Layne to come back - Mariah cos she looked fabulous at times and Stacey Layne because she was COMEDY GOLD. I follow your logic for Shangela though David and I was disappointed she went, so I wouldn't mind her coming back - though it would make this episode's result feel a waste of time. Shangela really is Godawful at anything creative.
 
Mariah was the most boring contestant on the show, actually that's the problem with most of them this season they are just not entertaining. i'm still hoping for Mimi to redeem herself because at least her thing was more than looking like a regular girl, of course the biggest problem is she's mental. if it's truly Mirel and Satino's choice then i doubt it'll be Shangela, they both hated her....i mean the bitch can't even blend (whatever that means).
 
The one thing that bothers me about the twist more than anything was that pretty much everyone who has gone has deserved to go at the time they went, to me the only ones that might have been debatable calls are Mimi (I don't think she was QUITE bottom 2 the week she went) and Venus (and who cares about the first girl out?).
 
OK my thoughts on this one below in whiteout:

I was totally pissed off when they gave Carmen another chance, out of everyone who made the top 8 or so she had shown us the least (not counting flesh). But she actually TRIED this challenge, and I kinda changed my mind a little. However I feel they should have put someone in who had a realistic chance going forward. I liked the challenge a lot even if it is a bit of a rehash of the fight girls challenge from season 1
 
:D That lipsynch was hilarious, actually the whole episode was very funny and yay Manilla finally won. i wasn't exactly happy when Carmen walked out but at least she's out again.
 
The jocks really were a really mixed bag I thought, meant that Alexis, Manila and Yara definitely had a much easier job.
 
My housemate and I were NOT pleased with the contestant returning - and clearly Ru wasn't either (if she really didn't have a say over the returning contestant) explaining why she's gone again already... :D

I would've loved a shock Raja elimination to be honest, because at the moment I think she's got it sewn up. It seems ridiculous to me that Alexis AND Yara are still there. They are virtually the same person. Not a strong final 4 at all compared to last year's... A poor queen's Raven; a poor queen's Jujubee and two poor queen's Jessica Wild's.
 
I totally disagree on Yara and Alexis being the same person. I think Yara works the latin thing FAR too much (although actually does it fairly well) whereas Alexis has shown us a lot more, her Alicia Keys in the Snatch Game episode for example.

I did prefer the latin queens from the first two series though.
 
i think i prefer a lot of the queens from previous seasons to this one, i think my only standout is Manilla and maybe Raja and Shangella to a certain extent.

A bit off topic but i just realized that Raven was in ANTM cycle 8 when they shot with drag queens.
 
I find Yara intensely likeable in a rubbish way, that said I LOVED her stand-up (or kneel-down) routine. Everyone else I'm iffy on, partly cause I intensely dislike the Heathers thing.

I was crestfallen to see Yara go down like that... but she'd never really looked like a finalist. I sort of get why she was pissed off about the challenge, while Manila and Raja's evening dresses were far more fashiony than the others, they didn't recognisably look like money, whereas Yara and Alexis' dresses did. Raja's could have been any coloured shredded paper.
 
Yara and Alexis' dresses were horrible though, they looked very cheap. Yara overdid it and Alexis just looked like a crafts project, also she doesn't get it with all the padding, that swimming suit looked like shit on her because her ass and hips were huge.

i would have prefered Yara to stay but at the moment i'm rooting for Manilla, the jusges seem to like her especially Michelle and her act is way better than the other two left.
 
I've got to say the queens of this season have been a let down. I mean someone like Ongina or Nina Flowers or even Pandora Box would have stormed this season.
 
I did not like Pandora Boxx. Too UGLY.

Disappointing (and extremely predictable) finish. Would've preferred a Manila win, but Raja was probably the most consistent. I thought Raja 'played the game' too much. She cried at all the right moments. She bitched when it suited her. And she suddenly started saying how lovely Alexis was just in time for the final so everyone forgot what a cunt she'd been up til then.

I didn't like the Heathers thing either (at all), but it really was between Raja and Manila from very early on - and I think they probably both knew that deep down.
 
Damn you, I didn't watch it yet... but as you say, kind of predictable, though I did think Manila might clinch it on account of not being nearly 40 (and being a little less abrasice than Raja)

Yeah i still haven't watched it but it was spoiled this morning, predictable and it was obvious from the begining that it will be Raja.
 
Oh guys! I'm sorry!! But seriously, it's the golden rule with reality TV NOT to go into a thread until you've watched the most recent episode surely?!?! I'm sorry though.

Ru seems to like the queens with the manliest voices. Neither Raja nor Tyra (I didn't watch Season 1) are very feminine at all I find. And Raja's androgyny puts me off her.

You could tell that Manila was Michelle Visage's favourite - she never said a bad word about Manila from Day 1.
 
A few comments on the finale: i thought they all did terrible on the video shoot especially Raja who looked more like Medusa, Manilla looked very pretty but she her movement was all over the place. Raja's final look was the strongest out of all three, Alexis really didn't stand out at all. Best thing was Manilla's comment about getting the crown when Raja is dead, it made me laugh.

i've never been a huge fan of any of the winners, the runners up in all three seasons were my favorites but Raja is defenitely better than Tyra.
 
Raja looked ridiculous with her hot PitCrew Member (Shawn - I've done my cyberstalking) being about a foot taller than him.

I preferred Tyra to Raja. But in Season 2 it was all about Jujubee for me.

Shangela was my fave this season, but her dress making seriously let her down!!
 
I'm not sure how I really feel about this cycle, it's been something of a letdown all over... I tend to rank likeability as high as anything when it comes to Drag Race and Raja just ISN'T, he's a snarky middleaged jaded queen...

I almost don't recognise this when I look at it next to Cycle 1... which was FANTASTIC, I defy anyone to watch the episode where Ongina tells the world (s)he's HIV positive and not be moved by it.
 
Surely mentioned before, but this is VERY Paris Is Burning and they'll probably all be strangled while chowing down on a JOHN come New Year. I can't believe I've not watched it before this evening

I'll need to catch up, but I'm 3 episodes in and I absolutely love the series so far. Sharon Needles and the cadaver-face one that looks like that judge who left are possibly my favourites, along with the one that's done TV work as an extra getting beat up. I realize I'll need to discover their names if I want to contribute to this thread again. Elvira was a SHIT guest judge. Michelle can sometimes sound like she just wants gay men to love her, but her laughter after critiquing a queen's heavy make-up was priceless. What a pity LeToya Jackson isn't back - apparently there's a story there, but I've no idea what it is (helpfully).
 
Willam is the one who's worked as an extra and he also had a small role on season 3 of nip/tuck as a pre-op tranny and the one that looks like Kelly Rowland is Milan.

Worst judge so far has to be Amber Riley, no personality and i don't care for Latoyah, she's the embodiment of dull.

Her tears on season 3 was the kind of TV moment I live for.

The 2nd lip-sync this series was beyond dull, I was really surprised that meth zen queen stayed for so long. 3rd lip sync was better, but the song choices largely dictate this. 90s dance or nothing; old school numbers rarely work. However, Angels Cry, where Shangela bowed out, is my all time favourite.
 
I NEED to see this show. It doesn't seem to be available to watch legally ANYWHERE!
 
Don't you have an US ip or something that allows you to watch stuff that are only for the US? if so you can watch all seasons on Logo's website (and start from season 1 because it's worth it).
 
Hmmm only in work. And I watch HBOGO at lunchtimes.
