Saturday's delivery guy is afraid of the lightning

Since there's no Saturday thread I've had to make one so I can ridicule the grown man who delivered my Tesco shopping and sat on my stairs (he asked if he could stand inside, I'm not a heartless enough bitch to say no) while I took the shopping out of the boxes because he was scared of the lightning. He wasn't outside in it, he was stood in my porch. So I gave him a lesson about how lightning actually works and told him his van was more likely to flip over at 5mph for no reason than lightning would hit him, unless he was stood in a field on his own and there were no trees about.

Didn't offer to help me bag the shopping up though

I remember we were camping once and had thunder and lightening and we had one kid who was literally phobic about lightning. It would have been nice to have had a heads up from her parents beforehand!
