Stereophonics - new album Make 'Em something something April 2025

Look it's lovely that he loves his kid unconditionally, but then again he did write Step On My Old Size Nines* so I'm still fairly comfortable in my moral high ground.

* CHRIST, the singles from that album... :zombie:
You sure do know a lot for someone who hates them :)

Waiting for the next inevitable set of posts of "I guess Dakota's okay", followed "I suppose I can tolerate "the Bartender and the Thief", "Mr Writer's pretty good actually, I'll give them that", They're really good live actually..."

I feel like I’m in the Twilight zone :D When did disliking the Stereophonics become a controversial Moopy opinion?

Those singles were all horribly overplayed at the time, I really didn’t have to seek them out!

Anyway Performance and Cocktails is probably an eternal top 10 in the charity shop CD donations sharts (along with I’ve Escapology and Music)

Stereophonics Top 5

1. Dakota
2. Getaway
3. Rewind
4. Devil
5. Maybe Tomorrow

I keep seeing ads on the tube for multiple Tony-award winning play-with-music-but-not-a-musical Stereophonic and I always wonder if there's gonna be many in the crowd waiting for 'Have a Nice Day'.

I think specifically they're MOR but with guitars instead of females

I have never seen a Mopsy campaign against Dido or Emma Bunton

I had to check a couple of playlists because I wouldn't say I ever listen to them regularly, or put on a full album, but I have liked quite a few singles over the years...

1. All In One Night
2. Maybe Tomorrow
3. Mr Writer
4. Graffiti On The Train
5. I Wouldn't Believe Your Radio
6. Violins & Tamborines
7. Dakota
8. It Means Nothing
9. Since I Told You It's Over
10. Just Looking

The Top 4 in particular I would happily defend in a fight.
