Just got back from watching this at the local cinema! Based on a Stephen King short story. This could have been genuinely HORRIFYING but they elected for the comic route instead.

Shades of "Drag Me To Hell" (except without that film's freaky focus on GUMS), "Gremlins" & especially "Final Destination" with all the gruesome death scenes very reminiscent.

There was one genuine laugh out loud moment (the lapdancer bit) but no real JUMP SCARES & even horror comedies need a FEW.

Mildly entertaining way to pass 90 odd minutes but not going to join the PANTHEON of horror comic GREATS.

*googles shirtless pics of Theo James*

Also nice to see the hugely talented Tatiana Maslany from "Orphan Black" on the big screen although an actress of her immense skills should be getting better work than a small supporting role in this.

Always up for a bit of Comedy Horror. It’s been 18 years since I’ve found a straight Horror film to be genuinely scary.

Really enjoyed this!

And Theo James really is a babe so two of him was a treat!
