This and Andrew Tate seem to have rubbed even the MAGA lot up the wrong way. It did make me smile a bit to see The Sun and Daily Mail slagging Trump off this morning as well. If you haven’t even got THEM on side over here…

Inviting a foreign rapist into America after promising to close borders to criminals seems to have pissed his supporters off. I’m really enjoying watching him overplay his hand, I hope it leads to him being violently murdered.

I still had one Brit pop up on my Facebook after I posted about this today saying ‘He treated a dirty beggar as he deserved’… so they’re still out there.

He’s now unfriended naturally.

It was never realistic that Starmer would escalate things by openly slagging Trump, but this is pretty unequivocal and will surely annoy the Americans:

Starmer told Zelenskyy that the cheering crowds outside Downing Street showed “you have full backing across the United Kingdom”.

Speaking inside Number 10, he told the Ukrainian president: “Let me just say that you’re very, very welcome here in Downing Street.

“And as you heard from the cheers on the street outside, you have full backing across the United Kingdom, and we stand with you, with Ukraine, for as long as it may take.

“I hope you heard some of that cheering on the street.

“That is the people of the United Kingdom coming out to demonstrate how much they support you, how much they support Ukraine, and our absolute determination to stand with you – unwavering determination – and to achieve what we both want to achieve, which is a lasting peace.

“A lasting peace for Ukraine based on sovereignty and security for Ukraine – so important for Ukraine, so important for Europe and so important for the United Kingdom.

Now that the dust has settled, I do think this was a pretty major error by Trump/Vance that will harm/humiliate them far more than Zelensky. They’ve pretty much united the leaders of the free world - save a few fellow tinpot dictatorships - in condemnation and reaffirmed public support for Ukraine.

The current GOP do not care as they can’t see beyond their pocketbooks and the MAGA crew only want to please The Supreme Leader to own the libs.

Between this and the Tates wandering back into the US, even some cap-wearing MAGAs are wondering what the hell Trump's up to. It was so obviously premeditated that there is no plausible deniability and regular allegation that Putin is pulling the strings seem better founded than ever.

I've literally avoided every video and news story on his interaction with Zelensky. It's too mortifying watching him and JD Vance trying to 'flex' while not realizing that everybody else is watching and cringing.

And that's not even getting into his foreign policy.

It really feels like after fucking up the USA from 2017-2020 he's now decided that he wants to fuck up the WHOLE WORLD from 2025-forever this time around. On what planet are these tariffs good for anyone - least of all Americans.

The hilarious thing is the MAGA nuts are for the most part the poorest in the nation yet they are celebrating this because “TRUNP IS OWNIN THE LIBS” when they are about to feel how high groceries can get. He keeps crashing the stock market but most don’t trade in stocks so they don’t understand what it’s fucking up for the nation.
 
There's nothing that screams fun more than selling more agricultural product in the United States.
 
There's a sense in which I don't approve of that kind of headline-grabbing symbolic retaliatory measure but I would make an exception here because it's meeting Musk on his own ground. He loves making a grand gesture so, OK, here's one for you. Your move, bucko.
