The Vivienne DEAD

I did read it and think that the effect of our drinking and drug use is pure chance. That most of us have never truly had a serious reaction to booze or narcotics is luck rather than moderation. I know I've certainly put the hours in.

Aren’t the likes of death by ketamine extremely rare and caused by continued or ridiculous high use? Course it could happen to anyone, but it’s not likely…

Yep. She must have absolutely hoofed it. Not sure if ketamine might work in a way where it could potentially have been a similar case to Amy Winehouse - who drank a similar amount to the amount she had done before on the night she died, but because she'd been sober a while her tolerance levels were lower than they used to be.

I think fatal overdose on ketamine alone is rare - I believe it's far more likely if combined with alcohol, cocaine, benzodiazepines or opiates. Or I guess if there were existing health problems.

I’ve just googled it and there are a couple of papers so its not impossible, but it looks to be extremely rare.

She'd had a cheeky bump in the preceding ad break
