The White Lotus (HBO not so Limited Series)

It started with this (which got deleted)

And I guess Kyle upset Evan (who people seem to really hate already) because Evan spends a lot of time posting about the show and Kyle got a viral post talking show about him so now it’s becoming a full blown (yet boring) thing on Twitter

Oh.

Anyway, back to gossip about people who are actually involved with the show, Sarah Catherine Hook (Piper) when asked about Parker Posey.

”She’s a funny lady :)

*moves swiftly on*

Looks like she’s just wanting to get her story done so it can be served up on the socials.

Let’s get back to Kyle and Evan

Quite a tedious Instagram personality who’s whole thing is shilling tv shows on the timeline. If I was being generous I’d call him a ‘media commentator’.
is he tedious? I think he's very funny and that tragic twitter gay desperately trying to create a beef with him (for what?? shut up bottom stunt queen) needs to take several seats.

Finished this season last night and overall I enjoyed it but let's be honest FUCK ALL happened. :D But then I think this has always been the case for this series bar the season finales. I'm here for the amazing soundtrack (which will be gone next season, seriously can't those fags just get along) and beautiful scenery anyway.

But for real the incest storyline which initially was the most intriguing one went absolutely NOWHERE. What the fuck kind of a resolution was "I'm a people pleaser"/"let's never talk about it again"?

The dad literally spent the entire season looking constipated while swallowing pills, asleep or giving us numerous fakeouts of killing his family concluding with that damp squib of an ending.

The shooter turning out to be...the character you think it surely wouldn't be upon watching the first episode because it would be too obvious.

Mook? What a cunt.

I did feel a bit emosh during the incest brother's fakeout death, it was a beautiful scene.

When do they start filming the next one?

Finally watched the last episode. So sad for Chelsea, the only person who actually deserved to live. Besides Gaitok maybe, but he’s now stuck with Mook, which is likely going to be worse than dying.

Just finished. This felt like a sizeable decline from the first two seasons - largely absent of a compelling storyline, and hauled through by Parker Posey, Carrie Coon, and Aimee Lou Wood, all of whom delivered stellar performances (Posey’s was ridiculous but compelling). Still, it’s highly watchable, and I’m curious to see where it goes next. Vague rumours about a UK setting are intriguing - I could definitely see a murder mystery unfolding at somewhere like Estelle Manor. Not sure we need to see returning characters - it worked with Tanya once but perhaps leave it there.

I think returning characters give it a nice anchoring. I'd like to see a Belindan return. A followup for someone off Season 2 might be fun - it would be interesting to see a deeper dig into the Leo Woodall character.

(I hope she would laugh at our Lucille saying she sounds like a hen from Chicken Run, coz I've been LOLing at that for a week now)

It was mean. I'm glad she pointed that out, and I'm glad they apologised!

I don't know if she was responsible for coming up with the bit, but Sarah Sherman is really one of my least favourite SNL people. She's a terrible actress and I just don't find her funny at all.
