I just got my first gold roses. They definitely weren't here earlier this morning.

Bought all three items from the new shop. I can almost understand why people fast forward as that must be quite addictive. My new tactic is when visiting, to visit residents to see if they are giving DIY recipes (perhaps I'm just catching on slow).

Half forgot my new plan to keep all my catches in storage until someone who buys for 50% extra visits. I'll try to use Nook's to sell fruit only.

I thought they had improved the frame rate with the update as it was noticeably smoother, but now the slight jankiness has returned when running across places.
 
So all these wonderful islands I'm seeing on Youtube that are landscaped to an inch of their lives - these people have all fast forwarded right?
 
I managed 3 more shrubs varieties on top of the 2 I was offered on my own island. I'm so overwhelmed by this Walking Children In Nature: The Videogame that I think it really will be a full year before it relents its grip on me. Can't believe I just bought a room divider thing with a tiger on it for 140,000, but I'm of the belief that something you passed on will inevitably become something you want when you see someone else has used it in a way you would never have came up with yourself.

My island would probably look like Mars if I didn’t get miles for planting things (and cutting them down!)

I’ve got my eyes on the Greedy Weeder gong though, I just need to find another 1000 weeds to flog, by spending miles to visit other islands to weed. MADNESS

This whole incident with the obviously fake Mona Lisa has really made me question Blathers' credentials as a museum administrator. :(

So I'm making a wedding area and was wondering if anyone can help me. Specifically I'm looking for:

- at least 8 cherry blossom petals, but 48 would also be lovely
- piano
- 1 or 2 x harps (or more)
- 2 x white lamp posts
- flower bouquet ornaments
- outdoor bamboo wall things

Recipes for these would also be appreciated I guess :)

Oh shit, maybe I shouldn't have crafted and customised those 6 white benches. That looks much more legit.

I wasted all my petals on piles for an abandoned path idea, but I want the branches (in the pot), they look gorgeous.

I got a random fast-forwarder to craft me 3 neon palm tree things not yet available to us mortals.

My 3 items were rubbish today. I have that speed punch gym thing to left to buy if anyone wants it (I'm waiting for the treadmill and exercise bike to even think about doing a gym).
 
It was raining so I spend a good 2 hours making bait and catching fish. No coelacanth, but I think I have enough Blue Marlins for a model.

though confusingly i shot a blue marlin model down from a balloon this week. I don’t think it’s a CJ one, but it’s basically the same. Maybe I should just sell the fish

I have 3 caught and ready to be made into a model, but I have a tuna one I want first.
 
I've gone big on the stalks this week after only buying for 40,000 bells last week (cause I had just paid off my loan, sigh).

96 was a reasonable selling price by the little boar, too.

Well, my tuna one was absolutely feeble and only takes up 1 block. The oarfish one is the only other fish one I've "commissioned" and is much better, but I was expecting something twice the size.

I didn't buy turnips this week. It's just not good for my health.

Does anyone have purple wildflowers? I just can't seem to produce them. My flowers are just a mess right now.
 
I've bought 70,000 worth of turnips today, which is a lot of bells by my standards (shhhhh). Let's see if it pays off next week :eyes:
 
I think I made one purple wildflower, but my park is surrounded by path so they can’t do it anymore. I got a load of pinks and blues from a rare flower island, I’m a fraud
 
I bought 500k worth of the turnips (cleaned out my savings), at 105 each and am hoping one of us 3 in the family gets a decent price so we can all sell.
This had better work :D

I have been doing well with the gold roses and blue hyacinths, but no blue roses or purple wildflowers yet. Honestly, why make this harder and more tedious than it needs to be? Anyway, version 1.0 of my diner is now live. Now I need to get better at creating little pretty plots - I don't to to IKEA enough for this.
 
I tore down a forested mountain taking up one quarter of my island today to build a complex for industrialised agriculture. Am I... Am I the villain of this game?

I'm turning what was my fruit field into grounds for my newly upgraded museum.

I'm hoping I get a good price for turnips, because otherwise my plans for sweeping changes to the island's infrastructure could all go awry. They're currently selling for 52 bells. Eek.
 
My Turnip Prices looked DIRE for this week, sinking throughout the week for the second time in a row, so I sold them at someone's island for 350 today. That's 1.5 million in the bank.
 
Need to check mine but I don’t think it’ll be there yet.

Got my bamboo garden sorted now I think, made a pond with an island and some lanterns and a stone tablet in the middle. Just ordered some rocks off my friend for my stone garden.

And I’m one Stego Tail away from finishing my museum collection too

I had the fantastic idea of essentially up-rooting my whole island. I'm emotionally drained, but it looks a lot better. Not checking my rating as I have around 100 fish waiting for CJ. It had dropped to 4 when I planted too many trees, so there must be a basic criteria to get data mined surely.

Oh hell no, but I have compressed them until further notice. I just kept checking my "evals" after chopping some down until it was back at 5. Leaving DIY recipes on the ground for visitors also docks you a mark evidently.

I was using trees to sell fruit, but I don't actually need to make money again on this for a long, long time (I'm at 27 million "lol").
