I don’t watch it but Stassi and Kristen have been fired from Vanderpump Rules for casual racism.

Fingers crossed for Kelly Dodd and Brandi from Dallas.

GREAT NEWS. Stassi and Kristen are such horrible people, I am glad they're gone. I think I read that Max and Brett the newbies aren't returning next season, they were DULL AS.
 
I don’t watch Vanderpump Rules whilst I still have many seasons of various Housewives to watch - but isn’t Stassi one of their biggest stars? I was under the impression she’s more famous in the USA than most Housewives..?
 
lmao Stassi is the most fame hungry of the lot. She was definitely expecting a TV wedding next season.

Just cancel the whole thing and give us a new show starring James Kennedy.
 
I wouldn’t be surprised if they shut the show down and try a bunch of spin offs. Wasn’t there a Las Vegas version in the works? Or they can do a Tom Tom version because honesty none of the current cast are actually servers.
 
Give us an all LGBTQ cast at PUMP. With James Kennedy.
 
The fact that they never had a gay cast member is the weirdest thing.
 
stassi was basically the biggest star on the show; bravo were scouting locations for her wedding next year in italy before covid put a stop to it.

for too long the show has focused on heterosexual modelesque hollywood types without any form of diversity at all (other than using faith as a baddy prop) and it's really irked me, especially given lisa vanderpump is supposed to be such a champion of gay rights. also the fact they have been able to get away with so many awful things for so long. clearly an issue in production on their casting process and then also their disciplinary process with the cast.

i hope they reboot the show based around the tomtom bar as both toms, ariana, james and newbie dayna are all great and shouldn't have to suffer due other people being abhorrent
 
Beverley Hills delayed for a few weeks - I wonder if they were are cobbling together a couple of additional episodes to extend the run of this season..? (I hope they do this for New York if so! :disco: )
 
NYC is also taking the rest of the month off :( I think this is the first time I’ve had no housewife shows in over 5 years.
 
I wonder if it's for the reason @wurst mentions, or if it's perhaps to push it back so that they can film an in-person reunion that will be ready to air once the season ends.

Or is it maybe cos ratings are down across the board in the US right now, with what's going on over there.
 
Following the Vanderpump Rules sackings, there is a Twitter campaign to get Luann booted from NY because of her blackface Diana Ross costume from a couple of seasons ago.

Whilst I can't deny the validity of their campaign, nor defend The Countess for her gross blackface costume - selfishly I really hope she doesn't get sacked as she's my all-time favourite Housewife, save perhaps Lydiot from Melbourne :(
 
Tinsley’s leaving was a bit odd, but nice - has the show ever dedicated half an episode to a wife leaving like that before? Production must really like her (or want her for RHoChicago).

Tinsley seemed happy to be leaving :D the farewell drink with Dale, Sonja and Leah was so awkward as Tinsley clearly doesn’t actually like Sonja very much :D

The second half of the season seems...interesting, especially Ramona breaking the fourth wall.
 
Time to flush Dorinda and Sonja and bring in some fresh blood.
 
I've been dipping in and out of these shows, but until this week I'd never seen the first season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Holy SHIT, what a show. Was Camille Grammer for real? What an absolute BINT.
 
Dorinda is just so vile, I’m glad everyone is yelling at her on Instagram.

Well she *was* for real in that first season, but after seeing herself on it (and everyone's reaction to her on it), she became a dull, sanitised version of herself on all future seasons. I will forever miss season 1 Camille.
 
The preview for the rest of RHONY looks great, but it's quite surprising that they just went ahead with five women after Tinsley left, rather than drafting in Jill, for example. Producers knew by then that Elyse was useless, and that Leah was on the outs with the core four women - so it was a bit of a risk just carrying on as normal without anyone else in the mix.

No, in all seriousness, Tinsley seems in a good place and she got her fairytale ending. Sonja is as plain weird as ever. Dorinda is just plain nasty and evil but beyond the point where it's funny to me. The turkey baster comment was the lowest.

Keep Luann, keep Leah, keep Ramona All Lives Matter Singer, I guess, maybe Dorinda now that her Tinsley obsession is done. Get rid of Sonja already. Add a BIPOC woman to the cast, long overdue.
 
How long would it take Ramona to say something like “you people” to a woman of color? I don’t think that any of her 60 girlfriends are BIPOC.

Bravo really created an absolute monster with Kim Z and her bizarre family didn't they. I’m gagged they STILL haven’t quietly washed their hands of her.

I've never watched it. I just can't imagine how it could be entertaining in the slightest. Kim Z worked best when she was single and guzzling wine while chain smoking around Atlanta battling with other women. The minute Kroy arrived on the scene it was like her personality had been castrated from her.
 
So Eva has left RHOA. No big loss of course but I really hope it doesn't mean that the producers are now gonna be doing all they can to keep Cynthia. Or Nene, for that matter.
 
I love how the reaction to Eva leaving online has been...silence. Not even stunned silence, more like nobody can even be bothered to comment :D

Porsha has been suggesting she’s back (obv), and Kenya & Kandi must be lock ins. Nene I’d be shocked if Bravo fire, but she’s been saying some WEIRD STUFF online recently.

DBT is just WEIRD. I fast-forwarded through one of the new episodes recently to see what it was about, and it’s just Kim slumping around the house and having awkward conversations about herself with random family members from the past.
Her daughters are literal mini-Kim’s it’s so weird.
The show doesn’t even get good ratings!

I LOVE Housewife casting season :D

From what I can see online, they aren't confirming or denying if Nene is coming back yet, but seem to be taking issue with the use of the word "fired" :eyes:

"Nene has moved on to focus on other projects" I assume is the line they might use, possibly bundled with a half-arsed pilot for Nene's own show just in case it somehow turns out to be TV gold.
