I went island hopping the next day and recruited a cute deer, Diana.

I want a weird one though, not just manky. I did meet a rhino goblin thing that was just horrid

That's 2 islanders to have given me their picture a 2nd time. They sell for 10 bells. I didn't realise you could customize the frames (not many to go on, but better than nothing).

I've also now got Ankha. Just Gloria to get and then the gift giving, chatting and ignoring rigmarole can finally finish.

Also, do people use the timer to have bug/fish catching competitions or are there better things possible?
 
I'm guessing Wilbur is a complete stoner. Currently on a mission to get Gloria. I'm around 40 flights deep into this mission.

I'm watching Condor whilst flying back and forth, it's really not a big deal.

I've enjoyed decorating my island, that's probably the main thing I do or have done.
 
I’ve slowed down a bit, more because of creative constipation than boredom. But I’ve started moving some homes now so I’m AFOOT
 
Very relieved to get the Gemini recipe on the last day, and the Cancer table (:gross:) the day after. Celeste has been holding out on me

I might as well make a house for Wispy to haunt considering how often the fucker turns up

I was definitely wondering why we didn't have star fish to catch as well.

Gloria update: she's moved in!

Just need to decide if I want to keep Hans and Goldie now as there's bound to be cooler villagers out there (I should look this up).
 
I'm a week ahead and 5:30pm.

Turnips are 334 if anyone even still does them at this point.

They were over 400 yesterday, but my internet was down.
 
I don’t know why, but it was the first time in sooooo long that I had prices less than 107 I’m on my island (91!) so I just filled my boots

I’m have a glacial paced renovation of the island, I’m moving all the animals to a residential area to free up some space.

I just have no idea what to use that space for
 
If anyone has decent turnip prices tonight or tomorrow, please let me know! I bought at 91 and they've been on a slide downwards all week (at 47 now) so I want to offload them :( Thank you!
 
And where does one get these pearls? I've swam and dived for about an hour (which I have enjoyed admittedly, largely due to banging some 90s bangers as I did so).

My turnips are also on the 40s tonight :)

I just put this on. I'm exhausted with the endless mission to get stuff you want (currently that would he white street lamps, which are not native to my catalogue and cannot be ordered as only black show up).

It's definitely due an update. I already have all the mermaid stuff and frankly don't know what to do with it all :)

there’s an update in about a week isn’t there? Or August anyway, I guess we will get a trailer about that soon

Thanks Diddy, but I think I have those and the copper ones in my inventory. It's to go with my lovely, blink and you miss it white/red English Rose area and connect it to a slightly arctic or mountainous white/blue area for my only top of the island Hans.

Anyway, where was I? Yes, update first week of August I believe. I assume this is too early for Autumn stuff. I'm absolutely itching to decorate for Christmas, but still have one last picture to collect before I fast forward that far again.
 
Given the hint, and my Japanese insight, I guess there will be a Japanese fireworks festival, that’s the summer thing
 
Oh that summer update is a bit of a comedown from the last one.

Fireworks were expected from the hint in the last video so that’s nice. I guess the rumour mill ruining this a bit, I was expecting Brewster or vegetables. The dream lady though? I mean it’s quite interesting but I don’t know how much I’ll do it
