Second model found dead in downtown LA apartment

31-year-old model Maleesa Mooney was found dead in her downtown LA apartment on Sept. 12, according to the LAPD. Two days before, on Sept. 10, authorities found 32-year-old Nichole Coats dead in her apartment, less than a mile away.

Elections in Slovakia (which seems to have a system that basically makes coalitions necessary) could either return a nationalist, pro-Russia coalition featuring actual neo-Nazis, or could also return a progressive, left-wing, pro-LGBT+ coalition. The final polls were basically a dead heat, although recent form in global politics makes me rather despondent it'll be the former. :zombie:

Exit polls showed that Progressives had won which raised hopes but the actual results have Smer (the nationalists) as winners. The Progressives won in Bratislava and Košice (the second city) but Smer almost everywhere else (albeit still garnering barely more than a fifth of the vote nationally). It comes down to who can build a coalition now to decide whether Slovakia becomes another Hungary or not :zombie:

Currently half-watching Children in Need; I have a gold Pudsey Bear badge somewhere from a few years ago, but otherwise not done the fundraising since primary school 😅

Being declared as a terrorist attack now. Car was apparently full of explosives and drove at the border crossing at speed. Both passengers dead.
