How are you likely to vote?

At least my work day is over

I swear it feels like I've had a semi and have been edging all day

Well… it’s the big one.

I am voting tactically and going for Labour even though they aren’t ultimately the Labour I want.

Who knows, perhaps better days are to come? If they do get in I hope to see some positive risks and less flip flopping.

My priorities remain the same - Tories OUT and after 14 years I just have to back the party that are likeliest to do it. (Obviously I’d go nowhere near Reform)

I would consider going Green one day, but today does not feel like the day.

Whilst a big part of me says "if not now, when?" (this comes up every time gahhhh), I'll do my duty of tactically evicting the Tory from our seat once I get out of work. This was firmly a Labour area and they only got in because of Brexit mania, but better safe than sorry.

It seems that people here prefer less right-wing politics. If that's the case, then voting for the Liberal Democrats or Greens to become the main opposition after this election makes more tactical sense in the long term than trying to maximize Labour's margin of victory.

Finished work early today. Browsing in a leather goods store, 2 young women on staff discussing voting. One didn’t know how to do it, and turned out she accidentally selected a postal vote when registering. “Can I just go home tonight and pop it in the post later?” Her colleague wasn’t impressed.

Some people shouldn’t be allowed to vote.

The Right-on-Right violence is wonderful. It'll be even more beautiful to watch when the results start coming in.

Voted this morning, so that if I got devoured by a leopard at lunchtime then I had still made my mark on democracy.

I had twats from the Revolutionary Communist Party shouting outside my flat for an hour this lunchtime with loudspeakers. They never once said “Please”.

I know it’s exciting and a huge cultural event but I absolutely cannot fathom how people stay up all night for this. I can barely make it past 10pm.

How do the MPs manage? Do they just nip off to the toilets every 20 minutes for a key?

Urgh. The fucking hammer and sickle wackos are back, demanding something that’s not within my power.

Happy to report my polling station was quite the hive of activity this evening. We’re a Labour stronghold and I seem to recall that one of the blokes from St Etienne is ‘stepping out’ with our Labour candidate.

I was a bit NERVOUS when I voted earlier. I live in quite a POSH hood and I felt like I was surrounded by Tories in the polling station.

I probably wasn’t but you never truly know until the votes come in!

I'm full of nervous energy, so I popped to my polling station, which moved and I didn't really know where it was. Turns out it's an athletic track, so that's fun. Queue there too, lot's of young people.
