I screamed. I cried. I threw up.

This was great, although the bit where

SUE kicked Demi Moore across the room in a fit of elder abuse

made me burst out laughing and from then on it just got increasingly stupid.

Also, NO HETERO but Margaret Qualley's impossibly hot.

Well ... I'm not sure this was quite the work of art it was aiming for at the start. Performances were good, but not incredible. It started really strongly, but got increasingly aimless. A bit disappointed as I wanted to love it.

This is
so over the top, I found it funny more that shocking or revolting. 🤭 Very entertaining and beautiful, nevertheless. A bit underwhelmed by the ending.

elisabeth and she's the same except she's not because she took the substance

I hope the Internet tsunamis all over the rotten Raspberry awards if so. Demi is a tour de force. The film goes full pelt and to go that unflinching should absolutely be rewarded.

I can't imagine this getting Razzie noms. Yes it's bonkers, but it's been very well received critically and commercially.

Besides they'll surely be throwing everything they have at the low-hanging fruit that is Megalopolis.

I guess we shouldn't rule out sad old Joker either.

I feel like it's only ever the females who get pelted with their garbage.
Apart from Sylvester Stallone. He was on Madonna levels of vitriol from them. At the very least they used to nominate proper mainstream films, rather than shit like the latest Megan Fox disaster, or documentaries made by Republicans that no one saw.

I just don’t understand how
the TV channel would hire an illegal immigrant without a US tax payer ID or a working permit and with no previous experience. They could have spent five minutes to explain how she figured that out.

SHE LITERALLY CAME OUT OF SOMEONE'S SPINE FULLY FORMED

They weren't striving for REALISM

Finally saw this last night. Spent the first hour intrigued but a little detached as I felt it was being a bit basic and heavy-handed with the message, but then when the plot (and the campery) kicked up a gear I was fully invested. Up until the last 20 minutes at least when it went proper batshit.

Beautifully shot though, and I enjoyed how unrelentingly forensic the visuals were in the non-gory bits just as much as the gory bits. Again, I'd maybe change my view on that when it comes to the last 20 minutes but it kept my interest at least. :D

What is comedic about it? What did I miss? I didn't laugh a single time (Except for the bit
where Elizabeth (cosplaying Anjelica Houston as a witch) was shouting at the TV screen "I MADE YOU!!" whilst throwing food at it

Aside from the shenanigans that sometimes happen with award category submissions, couldn't the whole thing be classed as a dark comedy?

My favourite comedies are the ones with no funny bits whatsoever tbh.

The finger pointing, the check the frame by frame close up of her ass, the lipstick painting... these were my standouts that I can remember hunour-wise. I actually fully expect to laugh more when I watch it again.

It has funny moments for sure but its main genre without a shadow of a doubt is horror. The problem is the options are ‘drama’ or ‘comedy/musical’ which is far too limiting and means horror movies are not right in either.

That Hollywood walk of shame though. It was like the most twisted tribute to the opening credits of Cybill (1995-1998).
