Billie Eilish - Hit Me Hard and Soft (3rd album) (1 Viewer)

she previewed several songs that all sounded upbeat or uptempo. and surprisingly synth driven. I'm not gonna listen to anything more for now but I feel this album will be THE TITS

OK BILLIE

I LOVE an empowering queen, but you know…

Anyway I’m usually not mad on Billie. Her whole vibe makes me feel like I’ve taken a pack of valium.

I am always open to seeing what artists can do next though.

I’ll wait for you lot to come back with album highlights and take it from there.

The marketing strategy for the album launch has taken an unusual turn, but I for one am buying into what she's saying.

the list of dates is EXTENSIVE. thank god it's arenas. gonna try for London, Amsterdam or Bologna

Surprised at only two shows in France
Reckon they’ll add more
That being said I’d be tempted with a
skandinavian date for queen B

141€ each for floor. the stage is in the middle of the floor so there's only one floor price, no golden circle etc. other euro dates were €151 for floor.

London dates were £145/€170, I didn't check the other UK venues

is that supposed to be a song from her new album?

Because I like it!

This album is SO GOOD and I'm only three tracks in. "Lunch" seems like it could be another "Bad Guy" for her.

Some of the synths / soundscape reminds me of Robyn's Honey album but better.

"CHIHIRO" is amazing.

I've only skimmed but it's a brilliant album. The last 3 tail off for me but I need to listen to it properly -the first 7 or 8 or whatever it was sound like instant keepers. It sounds VERY Billie Eilish but not in a samey samey way, still lots of creativity going on.

oh it's wonderful. CHIHIRO and L'AMOUR DE MA VIE are divine.

the way we've been FED this year. :disco:

I won't be paying £35 for a single LP, don't you worry. But I will be looking to bend my ear to this ASAP.

It's getting amazing reviews

Neil McCormick called it a masterpiece that is as good as Joni Mitchell's "Blue" which is a bold statement from a first listen!

Also this is lining up to be another amazing year for pop albums, just 4 years after the industry gave us Gaga/Kylie/Dua/Miley/Jessie/Taylor etc in the same year.
