Geri Halliwell is looking to spice up your wardrobe with her new collection of evening gowns in her Geri by Next line. Though, don't be expecting Union Jack dresses and platform boots. Ginger Spice has designed a collection that's, well, rather basic.

"I've been sketching everything myself and I'm thrilled with the results," she says. "I've had the opportunity to make dresses that are not stupidly expensive but still elegant enough to wear to an upmarket event."

The lackluster collection, which debuted at Old Billingsgate Market in London on Wednesday (July 27), featured several jewel-tone dresses in a simple silk charmeuse that aren't all that flattering. Though the sensibly-priced dresses start at 89 pounds (about $145), making them an affordable -- if safe -- option.

OH MY GOD GAYS!

Geri Halliwell has confirmed that she's ready for her musical comeback after recording new material.

Speaking at the launch of her new evening dress range for Next, she told the Sunday Mirror that she's completed work on her fourth studio album and has a record deal in place.

Although she hasn't confirmed a date for the comeback material, the record will mark her first release since the 2005 album Passion, which charted at number 41.

"The album's pretty much finished," Halliwell told the paper. "I'm not sure on dates yet and I won't tell you what it sounds like, because I'd prefer to let the songs speak for themselves."

She added: "It'll be great to be back where I belong, on stage. It won't be long."

Previous reports have suggested that her comeback track will be 'Putting On The Bling', a reworking of the song 'Puttin' On The Ritz' from the 1930s musical.

Olly Murs recently turned down the chance to duet with Halliwell on her new album.

That last sentence is so sad.
