Moderation Requests

Maybe if there were a new thread then it would lead to more discussion on the single too? I dunno, I just find personally I always avoid the big threads unless I have been following them throughout!
 
In the case of the Leona video everpres mentioned, I had no idea there was a video in that thread until I checked a week or so after the event. Sometimes I can understand the big threads when the chat is not particularly specific, but for something like a new video for an artist who attracts a fair bit of interest, I think a new thread is far more likely to get noticed and get people posting.

I don't think this can be done without the possibility of the user also deleting their own thread

and that would be a DISASTER
 
I don't like the idea of people being able to delete their own threads at all
 
I remember we could edit thread titles once, cos it happened to me twice one evening when looking at the 'new posts' search page...but then I could never make it work again after that :(
 
Moonbaby, you can actually thread titles - but you have to be really quick. It only works for a couple of minutes, if you spot your mistake in time.
 
I just had another look, there doesn't seem to be a way around it I'm afraid, but loomer you're right, you can edit for a very brief period after you just post the thread.
 
Merge my Whitney live thread into her main thread?

Though I thought the purpose of Divas was to not have giant threads and post whatever we want

I'd rather avoid creating megathreads unless the exact same conversation is going on in both.
 
It's just that I think all the great Whitney youtube live performances were in that thread in the first place.
 
Perhaps I could move the youtubes out of the bigger thread, then? Although that may make the other thread read strangely.
 
I have to apologise as was ill and MIA for a few weeks in January, but other than that I think I notice things quite well.

No, I can't do that either. All I can do now really is close it.

I suppose it's best to either delete the thread entirely and start again, or more likely to start a new thread with a new poll, and I'll then shunt the existing posts into it, then get rid of the old thread.
