Surely you can see the difference between someone tweeting about being anti-Israel and a legitimate government bombing innocent people on a daily basis causing an unprecedented and entirely avoidable humanitarian crisis?

I think it is safe to say there are bitter divisions at play here. Personally I haven't seen as much anti-Jewish sentiment on display, on and offline, as I've seen in recent months. And while this is sadly nothing new, having seen it so brazenly displayed in public is disconcerting to say the least.

I don't think the thuggish behaviour of the Israeli government has helped any of this, obviously. But then, there are certain people/groups who have been biding their time for this opportunity to present itself. And that is, in part, being enabled by some with strong platforms on the left, who equate all action by Palestinians as being moral and just, and Israelis with villainy. The situation is much much muddier and opaque than that.

Maybe what I'm actually trying to say is that arguing about dumb shit on social media is for the birds.

Not sure how long the war is supposed to go on, and what their plan is? It’s obvious that Hamas will not go away anytime soon.

The plan is to eradicate Hamas, something I personally think Israel has justification for. As Hamas is so intrinsically woven into the infrastructure in Gaza the broad brush approach has ultimately led to calamity.

So what's your point? Nobody had posted that video until you did. Genuinely not trying to start a fight here, but you keep doing things like this. For what it's worth I never post things from Jake Shields, he's one of a few prominent right-wing accounts who have done a pro-Palestine pivot recently (see also 'Censored Men' and several others) and he regularly posts unsourced videos like that.

no, that's not Hamas propaganda.

i do believe the IDF needs to get their shit together and make sure that aid goes through. they're seemingly more interested in eradicating Hamas rather than helping innocent Gazans, which i think is horrible.
