Bullshit scare stories designed to get swithering Tories to toe the line. Death to The Telegraph and all who sail in her.

Rishi and Starmer's constant stumbles make me think there's a non-zero possibility that Reform will lead the government after the next election.

Sunak and Starmer both crumble under basic scrutiny because their positions are just waffle and bullshit for neo-liberal capitalism. You think Farage can survive that type of scrutiny? He can only rabble-rouse the way he does because of his position on the sidelines.

He will only face that kind of scrutiny after a successful election. Labour is just one major scandal away from imploding on themselves.

I think the most we'd see is Reform as the junior partner in a right wing coalition. And them as ministers would destroy what little credibility they pretend to have
I genuinely cannot see them attracting any real talent; there's no-one in their pool who could do a basic 5 minutes on the Today programme without it being abundant what a feckless twerp they are.

This is it, I almost want Farage to get a seat so he can show himself up for the talentless nomark he really is.

As much as that's tempting, legitimising him by making him an MP is an absolute no-no.

I have to wonder to what extent the poll that puts reform at 25%, with a relatively small sample size and commissioned by GBNews, has been deliberately manipulated to drive an outcome.

It probably hasn't, i'm sure it's all above board. But you can see why it would be tempting to do so - Reform's biggest issue is that nobody thinks they can win, and the more you legitimise the possibility, the better they will do.

Has anyone ever actually been a part of one of these endless polls?

In the US there’s increasing evidence that they’re routinely underestimating pretty much any voters under the age of forty, because their methodology tends to rely on communications that millenials and Gen Z-era don’t engage with/ignore. Emails, cold calling, texting etc.

Hence Trump and the Republicans have been leading the polls but getting trounced in actual elections.

I don’t want to be all #YOUTHQUAKE but it’ll be interesting to see if it’s the same here.

They could get creative to reach the younglings: pop-ups in Minecraft, disguise their polls as YouTuber beef videos, hide their pollsters in cans of PRIME, that sort of thing.

I hate that immigration has become one of those issues like drug policy - you simply cannot have a sensible conversation about it based on actual facts and evidence.

They’re idiots though. Going after Labour with the hard right just makes blue collar Labour supporters switch to Rwform. They’re never going to vote Tory. They should be going after Farage and hope for a comfortable second in opposition! The best they’re going to get.

At the least the actors in it haven't deigned to show their faces!
