Yes, I saw the Labour candidate for Uxbridge, point that out.

Is he not electoral poison EVERYWHERE? Although he was notoriously unpopular in Uxbridge.
 
I think there are some constituencies where electoral poison just doesn't come into it.

Norfolk being an example discussed in the Truss thread. Henley would also fit the bill. It's a mostly rural area with folk who want to go hunting at the weekend, whilst the only "urban" area is the town itself; super-affluent and filled with rahs who work in London in the week, and get sloshed on champers on their boats at the weekend. Their greatest fear isn't the cost of living crisis; it's "affordable housing" being built in the town.

Essentially it's 50% aging white man, 50% younger versions of Boris himself.
