RuPaul's Drag Race (1 Viewer)

Are any of you actually GOING to Battle of the Seasons? What put me off were the RIDICULOUS prices they are charging in the UK, less than HALF of some other countries. And the RABID fans. Now the show has gone mainstream there really are some AWFUL people out there. It's the same with any fandom though - Eurovision, Doctor Who, Star Trek...

I bet Ru is FUMING that Adore is now a bigger recording artist than she is. None of the last few RuPaul albums have troubled the charts. Adore's debut made 59. Her new album was released today. Will be interesting to see how it does.
 
The cast is much improved over the season 7 place-holders.

The one that almost stood out as one to watch, but then didn't, was the Puerto Rican Karren Parry, Cynthia. I have hopes here

Acid Betty looks like a creature of habit. Meth.

Britney guy looks hot, but should go for the shaved look asap. He and Chi have nice, toned bodies.

Thorgy/Linda Perry, I detest.

Laila morphing from Gothic slug to Cyndi Lauper meets Bette Midler in the lip sync was awesome. They done her a favour putting here there (probably on purpose).

Carson's Wynona Judd opening the oven line was my favourite of the show.

Kim Chi's Khloe Kardashian should have been saved for Snatch, but the walk - that it was on purpose, I smell bigger bs than what's being fed through Ru's earpeice

Robbie is almost as bad as Thorgy, but "we'll you should move" shows Untucked promise.

Bebe adjusting Betty's arm sums up everything I want from this show.

Ru is looking older.
 
Considering they've had two music videos pull gay themes (one being at the request of a hetero not wanting to ruin his image presumably), I'm not really finding it 'fabulous'.

I always thought Jade was the moopy favourite. Or even if she isn't, Leigh Anne is the dead weight.

So we met the BOTS queens tonight (and my darling Tetris-Rock, such a doll!).

Sharon was terrifying, Jinkx was off her chuff, Violet was rude, POOR SAD OLD PANDORA WAS SAD AND OLD.

Adore and Courtney I cannot get over just how lovely both were. Adore was pouring us champagne and did an UNREAL perf of Purple Rain and Courtney was just the ultimate. I've always rated her but she now may be my fave :disco:

Was your Adore and Courtney chat backstage or at the back of the stage? Also, did Courtney perform at the afterparty?

I had to leave shortly after Jinkx and Sharon "did their stuff" shall we say? They streamed past myself and my friend leaving a downwind of WEED STINK.

Also, nice to meet you darl. Very impressed by the standards of lipsyncs when the competition actually started when earlier I had to jump on stage and "help" the lad who didn't know his Dana International from this elbow.
 
Also, I think you will have successfully enraged Munter when she hears how well everything came together! :D

Jinkx, out of it as she was, did make a good point that having the afterparty in the venue was pretty much the only reason any of them showed. So fuck axm!

Munter was there (in his even more horrific boy form) and was clearly incandescent with rage!

Courtney didn't perform sadly, just Adore, Sharon and Jinkx.

Also AGOG at the lack of knowledge on Dana International. Was that the terrible boy who we had to physically THROW OFF the stage?

Oh, there were some rude basic gays about but most of the girls were straight.

The local queen on stage did have to ask people to stop pushing forward whenever one of the BOTS queens came out to perform.
 
I went to the BOTS this weekend, it really was amazing. Michelle was EVERYTHING :disco: I really love this woman. I was genuinely pleased with Sharon, Katya and Jinkx who were REALLY there to put on a show. Pandora and Courtney were alright. Violet only had one number but she's fucking stunning. We didn't see much of Adore until the end, she came on did a song and fucked off. What a miserable cunt.
 
I watched a video of one of the BOTS Snatch Games - Sharon as Caitlyn Jenner is absolutely amazing, possibly my favourite thing any of the queens have ever done :D
