A Topic for Male Celebrities Rape/Sexual Assault Scandals

I'm starting to get a bit  about all of the A-listers rushing out with the exact same "Of course I never saw anything MYSELF but naturally I'm horrified" statement.

They clearly all knew and they kept working with him because he was powerful. It'd be better if they just owned it, because you can guarantee they could all name at least 5 other major producer/execs who are just as bad.

All these articles and not one mention of the most important detail which we’re all surely DYING to know :(

I’d have flopped over like Raggedy Ann and guzzled piddle and all sorts but dignity’s never been a strong point :disco:

Donna Karan tried to be honest, it didn't work so well for her.

Nobody wants to hate Meryl Streep or Judi Dench so they just play along.

Also apparently Russel Crow and Mat Damon helped kill a story about Harvey in 2004.

I bet he didn’t even DARE with MADAM.

You can bet there will be some A listers getting their noses put out of joint.

At least they'll now know what it was like for the rest of us who visited tv studios in the 80s and didn't get so much as a light noncing even once.

I wonder if this is America's Savile moment, the point at which a whole institution and culture finally goes under the microscope.

I just hope all this doesn't affect Bryan Singer's totally innocent pool parties with nubile young men who are definitely of age.

Sorry but I read that sentence and my first thought was "Michael Barrymore".

Obviously I’m not excusing him (as much as I’d not say no to a suckle) but I do find Harvey’s constant begging in that audio a bit troubling :(

I can’t imagine that Jimmy Savile ever said PLEASE NICELY when he was ramming it up the kids in the Stoke Mandeville

He seems to be the type that ain't too proud to beg. He's been sending emails to other people begging them for forgiveness.

Wasn’t there a story about him weeping uncontrollably because he was too fat?

Admittedly this might have just been a manipulative load of old bollocks assisted by a handy onion but has he never heard of MOOPY TUB CLUB?

Who needs a wife when Lindsay Lohan has your back

Lindsay Lohan took to Instagram on Tuesday evening to defend embattled producer Harvey Weinstein, who is accused sexually assaulting and harassing several women over the past few decades.

“I feel very bad for Harvey Weinstein right now,” she said in the Instagram story, taken from her home in Dubai. “I don’t think it’s right what’s going on.”

Lohan also said that Weinstein’s wife, Georgina Chapman, who intends on filing for divorce, needs to “take a stand and be there for her husband.”

She later deleted the bizarre messages.

Weinstein, who was the subject of a second bombshell report on Tuesday, is reportedly on his way to Europe for treatment after being accused of harassing several actresses, including Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Lohan added of Weinstein: “He’s never harmed me or did anything to me – we’ve done several movies together.I think everyone needs to stop – I think it’s wrong. So stand up.”

weistein is a huge name. i can't think of a bigger (award winning movie) producer. not sure how i should feel about georgina.

i can see this snowballing even more and dragging a ton of other names into it. it's awful but i'm pretty sure a great deal of casting decisions are based on sex or connections.

What are the several movies Lohan has done with him? :D

Maybe he had an uncredited role in her still-to-be-released werewolf detective opus.

Also SUREJAN.GIF at Jennifer Lawrence knowing nothing.

there's a backlash against some stars like winslet and streep who condemned weinstein but have defended allen and polanski. then you have someone like singer and the line just becomes very blurry.

i would place it on consent and a legal age but it can all be rather murky and unsavoury even if those conditions are met.

I’m still screaming at the time when Dame Rita Ora was STEPPING OUT with HW!

Well QUITE RIGHT TOO

You have to wonder whether the level of trauma expressed would be such if he weren’t SO FAT and looked more like Michael J Fox or Emilio Estevez or other currently popular Hollywood hunks
