I think anyone expecting anything other than variations on the established themes is always going to be sorely disappointed. It's going to be case by case - who is she working with, how good are the lyrics this time, is there an overarching theme etc etc. Bit like The Fall. Only with several million more people find the results listenable.

I see people re-post her music on insta now and then but she seems much less talked about than 2011-2015. But that's to be expected. There was some renewed buzz around Norman and heard people rave about "Doin' Time", "The Greatest" and "Venice Bitch". Hopefully she returns to that exposure with this album. The rollout seems much more thought out this time around and she seems to have built a lot of goodwill between Blue Banisters and now.

I think the reason is because she doesn't have hit singles, but she does have hit albums. It's almost surprising when you look at her singles chart runs compared to her spotify streams. She's massive on streaming overall, but she's only ever had 3 top 10 singles in the UK and the last one was in 2013.

Nah. Most big female artists having a new album out would be in the news of any channel here: Rihanna, Swift, Grande, Gaga, Beyoncé... LDR would never get that, she's not that mainstream.
