How are you likely to vote?

Streatham and Croydon North, which is a safe Labour seat, I’m guessing the budget is going into Croydon South which looks like a likely Labour gain.
 
Although one fun part of the constituency is it’s a 4 horse race for second place.

I’ve lived in the same constituency for 12 years and I only ever get the odd leaflet from councillors. I’ve never once had anything even branded as being from Hilary Benn himself.

I mean he’s held the seat comfortably since 1999, so I can’t exactly begrudge him taking his eye off the ball, but it does make election season rather BORING.
 
It's kinda competitive here, but the Tories aren't really trying from what I can tell. It should be a fairly notable campaign seeing as if we do go Labour as expected, we'll have had MPs from three different parties within a decade, plus the shit celebrity element. But there's been little media coverage.

Same. No leaflets or anything, but I mostly think it's because they only really target houses rather than flats, particularly avoiding the main roads where it's mostly commercial premises.
 
I've only had a leaflet from the Greens, which had "WE STAND WITH PALESTINE" on the front.

While staying at my partner's place, we had leaflets through for Labour, the Lib Dems, and the Tories who had opted for a lovely shade of beige instead of Tory blue.
 
Labour x2, Independent, and Lib Dem. Not a peep from the Tories which I'm a little surprised at seeing as Labour and Independent's split vote have meant what was looking like a Labour wipeout is now much less certain, and the Tories could scrape it. They were perhaps just a bit unprepared?
 
I drove through the Yorkshire countryside yesterday and the really noticeable thing was that there was nothing political at all.

Normally it's flush with massive Tory boards. I suspect they will still vote Tory but they're being shy.
 
I'm actually tempted to vote green.

Labour are going to win here by a landslide so I want them to do well.
 
In the nine years I’ve lived here, I’ve never had anyone knock on the door. Bizarre as I live in a building of 50 flats, so surely that’s less footfall and time for your money?

Anyway, few leaflets from Labour, Lib Dems and one from Reform. Not seen a single whiff about the Tory, but then he was parachuted in against local party wishes- even the Portsmouth Tory Party Twitter account appears to not mention him. It’s absolutely astonishing how much they’ve entirely given up here when they got 17000 votes last time.
 
LOL- hold on, it’s get better. So little known about the candidate that I got that wrong and “he’s” a “she”.

A guy from back home that I spoke/flirted with for a while until I found out he was a member of UKIP is not only a candidate for Reform but is the Reform candidate in MY constituency :nononono:

Sorry but how badly are the greens fucking it if they can only get 7% of under 24s?!

I thought they were mostly there for THE YOUTH, plus social workers aged 50+ in sandals and zero waste supermarkets
 
It does strike as odd that the LIBERAL DEMOCRATS are polling twice as well as the Greens with young people.
 
Well, the Greens can't get a look in, can they? And when they do it's because Just Stop Oil have just covered something in orange flour or a member has been terfing it large.
 
I don't really buy into this Farage youthquake outside of young lads who like Andrew Tate etc.

Whoever does come into power next does really need to look at this trend of why young men are falling for all of this nonsense though.
 
It should be noted that it's not particularly statistically significant. That R&W poll contains about 250 18 to 24 year olds, and a massive 14 of them said Green Party. If you use their own methodology to weight them based on likelihood to vote, it's even smaller, about half.
 
The greens are just putting effort into where they have a chance though, right? They don't have the money to be competing nationally.

I think this is largely true, yes. I've only had leaflets from Labour and Alba, to my surprise as I'd expected the SNP to make more of an effort. Maybe it's coming this week.
 
I notice our Reform Candidate lives in Derbyshire, ZG. They clearly have HIGH HOPES.
