Super talented triple threat
A little bit late for this.
All About Eve was atrocious. Seriously at the moment it’s difficult to get tickets for anything less than £100 even for the Grand Circle. Seriously don’t bother. I’ll elaborate a bit later.
I have however just come out of a very reasonably priced production at the Southwark Playhouse called All In a Row, starring Charlie Brooks (Janine from Eastenders) and Simon Lipkin, whom I’ve only ever seen in musicals before. It’s a very intense one act play about a couple with a severely autistic, non verbal child on their last night with him before Social Services remove him from their custody. Incredibly heartbreaking with very powerful performances particularly from Charlie Brooks. This one will stick with me for a while.
